Who We Are & Operating Status

Etlfarms, trading at etlfarms.us as Etl Farms, Inc., is an agricultural commercial transportation and field-to-elevator logistics enterprise based in Pigeon, Michigan. We are verified in the Michigan business registry and operate as an active commercial carrier established and maintained since 2026.

Unlike multi-tier freight brokerages that assign loads to unvetted third parties, Etl Farms operates on a dedicated owner-operator model: single-rig dedicated dispatch where the commercial hauling rig is piloted and supervised directly by an experienced farmer and commercial driver.

Service Scope & Equipment Fleet

Etl Farms, Inc. specializes exclusively in bulk agricultural grain hauling across Huron County and adjacent regions of the Michigan Thumb. Our field operations involve dispatching heavy-duty transport vehicles directly to field turn rows, harvest staging points, combine auger positions, and farm grain storage facilities, followed by transport to regional commercial grain elevators, grain processing terminals, and feed mills.

The mechanical equipment utilized for these operations comprises commercial day-cab trucks, heavy agricultural tractors, commercial grain trailers, bottom-dump hopper trailers, and on-farm maintenance and mechanical transport equipment. Every unit is inspected before each harvest run: air brake systems, tires, roll tarps, and hopper doors undergo strict safety reviews to prevent field downtime.

Etl Farms, Inc. provides transport logistics and bulk cargo hauling only. We do not purchase, broker, hedge, grade, dry, clean, or store grain commodities on our own financial account. We are not a freight broker that resells dispatched loads. Every scheduled haul is dispatched directly to our own driver and equipment rig.

Transparent Bushel Rates & Settlement

Commercial grain hauling services performed by Etl Farms, Inc. are priced on a transparent per-bushel scale. Confirmed operator rates range between 0.12 USD and 0.50 USD per bushel ($0.12–$0.50 USD/bu), with all charges denominated and invoiced in United States Dollars (USD).

The exact per-bushel freight rate depends strictly on six concrete operating variables:

  • Loaded Transport Distance: Total highway and rural road mileage from field edge or farm bin to the designated grain terminal.
  • Total Bushel Volume: Gross commodity volume moved across the dispatch cycle.
  • Fuel Price Index & Burn: Real-time regional diesel fuel prices and route topography.
  • Commodity Grain Type: Bulk weight and handling characteristics of the hauled grain (shelled yellow corn, soybeans, dry edible navy beans, or soft white winter wheat).
  • Field Approach & Turn-Row Conditions: Grade, soil moisture, gravel base, ditch clearance, and stability of the access lane.
  • Field Acreage Geometry & Staging Room: Field size, shape, turn-row radius, and turn-around space available for heavy commercial tractor-trailer maneuvers.

Freight settlements are computed directly from certified scale tickets issued by the receiving commercial grain elevator or terminal. We do not bill on combine yield estimates or hopper fullness guesses.
